Every month or two, my Hampden living room turns into an intimate performance space for acoustic Old-Time/Bluegrass/Americana/Folk groups from across North America. Every show starts at 7:30pm and ends by 9pm. many guests bring food and drink to share. There is frequently some informal jamming after the shows. The house concerts are great for all ages. I hope to see you at a show!
Circus No. 9 - Thursday, October 25
You're invited! Join us for an evening of live acoustic music in my Hampden living room featuring the progressive bluegrass band Circus No. 9, one of the most exciting new bands on the acoustic music scene today. They blur the lines between bluegrass, country, jazz and jam band music with a hypnotizing creative energy. **A review of a recent house concert was featured in the Johns Hopkins Newsletter. You can read the full story HERE
"Brad Kolodner's house concert series is an oasis. A welcoming host, a warm inviting space, and one of the most musically astute audiences you could ever want to play for. There was no sense of social obligation, just friendly, interesting, folks that appreciate good music and engaging conversation. I want to come back!"
