"Ken is regarded as one of the finest hammered dulcimer players today. What makes this recording special is that Ken collaborates with his son Brad who plays the banjo and banjola. It is what folk music is all about in my opinion. I would also recommend that when you preview the CD do so on good equipment (not a car CD player or cheap computer speakers) otherwise you may miss the tight, intricate, and interesting arrangements"

Three years ago, I had no idea that a beginner banjo class would take me down a path of music that has changed my life. Growing up in a music-filled household, I could hardly bear the sound of novice fiddle and hammered dulcimer students taking lessons from my father. It wasn't until recently that I finally decided to pay attention to the music and realize what a pleasure it can be to listen to and play. The banjo quickly became a newfound passion that has introduced me to so many new people and musical styles.
